Protecting Privacy at AllMed
At AllMed, we are committed to protecting your privacy, and to developing technologies that provide a safe and secure computing experience. In general, we will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. For example, personal information is generally requested when you are asked to register before using our VIP services, ordering e-mail newsletters, joining a limited-access premium site, or when purchasing and registering AllMed software and products.
The amount of personal information you are required to supply will normally be limited to that which is necessary to supply the service or carry out the transaction that you have requested. If other information is requested, it will be labeled as optional.

Controlling and Accessing Your Personal Information
Because AllMed handles sensitive data in the form of medical records, the personal information collected resides in a single, secure location per HIPAA guidelines. Therefore, access or control over the data submitted is restricted. Please contact your AllMed representative directly to make changes to your customer/patient information.
Security of Your Personal Information
AllMed carefully protects the security of the personal information you provide. Personal information we collect is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access, and we protect this information from loss or misuse, and from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. When sensitive personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted over the Internet, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
Use of Cookies On The AllMed Sites
AllMed does not make use of "cookies" except to compile aggregated statistics about web site usage. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you or your computer, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
While they are only used for internal tracking purposes, you have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.
