Physician Credentialing

AllMed’s reputation is built on the quality of our peer specialty reviewers. Our panel of reviewers includes over 400 specialty practitioners from all over the country. Peer reviewers are in active practice in their specialty area and hail from many of the most prestigious medical centers. Reviewers are fully credentialed when hired by AllMed and are recredentialed every three years.

AllMed uses Aperture, the nation's largest Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), to verify healthcare practitioner information before adding any professional to our peer panel. Aperture performs primary source verification on over 900,000 practitioners, and is fully certified by the NCQA, accredited by URAC and recognized by the Joint Commission.

Per URAC guidelines, all AllMed reviews are conducted by board-certified physicians, dentists and licensed allied healthcare professionals in active practice. AllMed has dedicated staff to oversee compliance and quality assurance, and to set a strategic direction regarding employee policies as they relate to physician staffing.
