Back Pain
There are many causes to back pain including mechanical problems, injuries, acquired conditions or disease, infections and tumors. For low back pain, common causes include small fractures to the spine from scoliosis; muscle spasm; ruptured or herniated disc; degeneration of the discs; poor alignment of the vertebrae; spinal stenosis; strain or tears to the muscles or ligaments supporting the back; spine curvatures, like scoliosis or kyphosis; or other medical conditions like fibromyalgia.
