Breast Reduction

Also called mammoplasty, breast reduction surgery is usually performed for patients with enlarged breasts, cystic breast infections; back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, breast pain or headaches; loss of sensation in the breasts, arms or fingers; sleeping problems or poor posture due to large breasts; pigmented bra-strap groove; and striae on the breasts. It is an outpatient surgery which involves reduction in the size of the breast by excising fat, skin and glandular tissue.
