Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis may be defined as excessive sweating, beyond a level required to maintain normal body temperature in response to heat exposure or exercise. It can be classified as primary, which involves the hands, feet or axillae; or secondary, which results from a variety of drugs or underlying diseases or conditions. Treatment options for hyperhidrosis include topical therapy, botox injections or surgical excision of axillary sweat glands.
