Orthotics

Also called orthoses, orthotics are prescription-made insoles fabricated from a plaster cast of a patient’s foot. Orthotics are for patients with severe conditions, such as fallen arches or structural problems that cause imbalance. Three classifications of orthotics exist including rigid, soft and semi-rigid orthoses.
