Pharmacology

The branch of medicine concerned with the study of the interaction of drugs with living organisms and their production of change. Pharmacology and pharmaceutics are not the same. Pharmacology deals with how drugs interact within biological systems to affection function while pharmacy is a medical science concerned with the safe and effective uses of medicines.
