It's time to talk about Swine Flu
With Swine Flu running rampant throughout the countries, its time that the IRO-side look at the rumors accompanying H1N1
If you haven't heard about swine flu by now, you're either completely cut off from the entire western and eastern worlds or are incredibly anti-media. At any rate, considering that you're a blog reader, you've heard or read the Swine flu has now been detected in 226 cases ranging in 30 states.
Perhaps the hype is indeed a hype or perhaps the national (and global) obsessive attention is necessary. Whatever the case, it is important for hospitals and payers to know what to do in the reach of a germ epidemic.
It's best for payers and hospitals to stick with evidence-backed medicine; do what you always do and stick to the basics.
